drugsMangaluru, June 03, 2017: Reports say that Bajpe police station staff arrested two persons - students of a private engineering college in the city on charges of peddling drugs near the IT park at Ganjimath. Police identified the accused as Malali from Bhatrakere, and Ahmad Asvad from Talangere.


Deputy commissioner of police (law and order) K M Shantharaju said police Seized 10 packets of ganja weighing 95 grams and two wheelers from the accused. Value of the narcotics and vehicles seized is Rs 61,500.


Efforts are on to nab two more accused, escaped the police. The duo arrested as per a case registered under the NDPS Act, were produced before the jurisdictional court, which remanded them into judicial custody.
