Mangaluru, June 27, 2017: It is cheerfully reported that final year Electronic and Communication Engineering students of Canara Engineering College at Benjanapadavu have designed a hi-tech cradle. The cradle will help working women to take care of their children. When the child cries, the cradle swings on its own.
The microphone attached to the cradle triggers the rocking action automatically. When the child’s bed becomes wet, GSM module sends a message to the parents. If the child fails to stop crying even after cradle starts swinging, it will send a message to the parents.
The web camera attached to the cradle will help the parents to know what the child is doing.
Suparna Pai, Varadaraj Bhat, Sneha H Bhat, Varun Shenoy have developed the hi-tech cradle under the guid
ance of Jayasri. young parents are said to feel relieved with this invention.
