The All College Students Union has said that it would fully back the movement and support the bundh call. Addressing press persons on February 27, Thursday, All College Students Union President Dinaker Shetty  said the Student Unions will protest in front of the DC office on March 3 and  burn the effigies of former CM DV Sadananda Gowda who gave a go ahead for the project during his tenure as well as Union Minister Veerappa Moily  who is hell bent upon implementing this project.

As already reported, various organisations which have been fighting against the project have decided to observe March 3 as a Black Day in the district opposing the foundation laying of the project  in Chikkaballapur.

Student Union leaders Rakshith Poojari, Dharmaraj, Ashwith Kottari, Rajesh Shetty, Manish Gatty and others were present at the press meet.
