Mangaluru, June 01, 2018: National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom) Senior Director Ashok Pamidi said Information Technology is the prerequisite segment that encompasses every walk of life and it provides ample number of opportunities for startup projects.
Speaking as a chief guest during an interactive programme ‘NASSCOM-Mangalore SME Connect,’ organised by Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Centre for Entrepreneurship Opportunities and Learning (CEOL) at KCCI, Bunder, Mangaluru on Thursday.
Ashok said that the technological advancements have made driverless cars, augmented vehicles and artificial intelligence automated system a reality. One can witness a paradigm shift in the development of remote communication too, another interesting field is that of cyber security, he said.
Stating that the Nasscom has set up incubation centres across the country, focusing upon the FAME (Funding, Acceleration, Mentoring and Enterprise) criterion. The focus is laid upon the small business enterprises, he added.
KCCI President Vathika Pai and Vice President V P Abdul Hamid were present on the occasion.
