Speeding tempo fatally knocks down young bike rider

Kundapur, April 5, 2016 : Twenty two year old Karthik Shetty lost his life in a tragic road mishap at Nagur near Byndoor during the wee hours of April 5, Tuesday.

kundapur accident The mishap occurred when the two-wheeler which Karthik was riding was hit by a Tempo Traveller from the rear when Karthik was on way home after watching Yakshagana at Uppunda.

The deceased youth was the son of Uday Shetty and hailed from Yerkone near Byndoor.

Karthik had completed his graduation just last year and is survived by his parents and a sister.

The driver of the Tempo Traveller which caused the accident has been seized by the Byndoor police.
