Mangalore, July 10, 2013 : A speeding car overturned near the Baikampady bye-pass on the NH 66 on July 10, Wednesday morning, resulting in serious injuries to the driver.

The  accident occurred at around 5.30 am when Shivaram(40) was on way to the market in his car. Reportedly, he was in the wrong direction and his bid to avoid collision with a vehicle coming from the opposite direction   applied sudden brake resulted in the tragedy.


It is learnt, he soon lost control over the vehicle which rolled over twice seriously injuring  Shivaram on his  head and legs.


The injured driver was hospitalized by locals. Panambur police have registered a case.
