Speeding ambulance hits divider, crashes against electric pole

Mangaluru, Sep 13, 2016 : The driver of an ambulance had a miraculous escape when the vehicle which hit the divider at the Fourth Mile at Kulur on September 12, Monday afternoon, later crashed against a street light pole.

The driver suffered minor injuries in the mishap. The ambulance was on way towards the city from Suratkal. The mishap occurred when the driver of the speeding ambulance, in order to avoid collision with another vehicle steered right.

The mishap disrupted traffic on the highway for nearly half an hour until the traffic police restored normalcy on the route.

Tough they move fast they have to be very careful not risk their or others life. There are so many who do not give them way in spite of the alarm.

How sad ? The ambulance drivers have to be very alert as their ave to reach on time to save life but at the same time they have to be very cautious.
