Soldier from Moodbidri dies in Rajasthan

Mangaluru, Jan 4, 2016: A soldier hailing from Moodbidri who was serving the Indian Army at Rajasthan since the past 17 years, has met a sudden death  at Rajasthan on January 2, Saturday.


The deceased is Girish Eshwar Poojary, aged 35. Girish who had visited his hometown  Badaga Mijar Urki Nandadi near Moodbidri  just three weeks ago had  later  left for Rajasthan along with his wife Roopa and son Gagan (4).


 He was the son of late Eshwar Poojary. Girish’s mortal  remains will be brought to Mangaluru by a flight via New Delhi and Bengaluru.


The last rites will be held on January 4, Monday with full military honours at his native place.
