Society must unite for protection of cows : Ramachandrapur Swamiji

Mangaluru, Jan 28, 2017: Sri Raghaveshwara Theertha Swamiji of Hosanagara Ramachandrapur Mutt has called upon the people to sink all differences and unitedly strive towards protection of cows.

Go Dhwaja

He was addressing the gathering at Kulur after being handed over the Go Dhwaja as part of the Mangala Go Yatra on January 27, Friday. Stating that all the religious heads have supported the cause of the Go Yatra, he said there was a need to sensitize the society on the need to protect the cows . He also hoped that the Yatra would succeed in putting a stop to cow slaughter.

Sri Rajashekharananda Swamiji of Gurupur Vajradehi Mutt described the Go Yatra as a struggle for the cause of freedom of cows. He also regretted the absence of ministers in the function.

Sri Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Swamiji of Jain Mutt, Sri Renukananda Swamiji of Narayana Guru Mahasamsthan, Gartikere, Brahmakumari Vishweshwari, Senior RSS leader Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat, Swami Vikhyatananda of Gurusevashram Balyottu, D Y V Krishnamurthi, Director of the event and others were present
