Byndoor, Dec 18, 2023: Two fishermen drowned when their fishing boat capsized due to rough weather at Shiroor in Byndoor taluk late Sunday night.

There were three persons in the boat which had ventured into fishing from Shiroor Kalihitlu on Sunday night. Those who drowned in the mishap are Abdul Sattar (45) of Shiroor and Mohammad Yusuf Nisba (49) of Bhatkal.

Another person in the boat, Buddu Mukhtar was rescued by fishermen from another boat.
