Mangaluru, Feb 29, 2024: The hearing in the sexual harassment case filed against city’s advocate K S N Rajesh has been transferred to the District Sessions Court, in an order issued by the Mangaluru 3rd JMFC Court.
It may be recalled here that a case was registered against Rajesh in the Women’s Police Station of Mangaluru accusing him of sexually harassing a law student who was interning under him.
A total of 110 witnesses were heard in the case and ACP Dinaker Shetty had filed the charge sheet along with evidences. Meanwhile, the accused had moved the High Court seeking dropping of charges against him. The High Court had cancelled the petition and had ordered that the case be heard in the trial court.
As this is a serious cases which needs to be heard in the Sessions Court, the case has been transferred to the District Sessions Court by the 3rd JMFC Court.
