Several organisations support March 3 DK bundh call : Vijaykumar Shetty

Mangalore,Mar 2, 2014 : Karavali Jeevanadi Netravathi Rakshana Samithi President and former Suratkal MLA Vijaykumar Shetty who is in the lead in the movement against Netravathi Diversion Project has said that several associations have extended support for the March 3 Dakshina Kannada bundh call against the project.

Speaking to reporters here on March 1, Saturday, Shetty claimed the support of over 70 organisations for the bundh. He said various colleges and bus associations too have promised support for the bundh. Colleges have also assured to put off exams scheduled for March 3, he said.

Shetty slammed Harsha Moily for defending the Yettinahole Project said the party workers known him only since the past two months. He lacks experience, Shetty said and challenged him to invite experts to hold discussions about the project.

Activists Dinesh Holla, MG Hegde, PV Mohan, Dinaker Shetty, Shashiraj Shetty, Dennis D’Silva and others were present.
