Senior RSS Pracharak, Modi associate Vishwanath Suvarna passes away

Mangaluru, Nov 08, 2014:  Vishwanath Suvarna (67), a Senior RSS Pracharak passed away here on November 7, Friday morning. Suvarna had worked along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Punjab for almost four years two  decades ago.

Suvarna who hailed from Mangaluru had worked for the RSS for nearly 25 years. It is learnt Suvarna who was ailing was admitted to a private hospital in the city around two weeks ago. He  had later slipped into coma.

One of Suvarna’s friends recall how Narendra Modi who had come to  Mangaluru in the year 2008 had recognised  Vishwanath at the airport and spoke to him.

But, it is learnt, Vishwanath was unable to meet Modi during his previous visit to Mangalore as part of poll campaigning due to health problems.
