Mangaluru, July 16, 2016 : The Blasius D’Souza Road stretching from Karavali Circle at Bendorewell to Canara Bank Circle at Balmatta was inaugurated by senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge on July 16, Saturday. Kharge unveiled the sign board of the road on the occasion.
State Ministers B Ramanatha Rai, UT Khader, Dinesh Gundu Rao, Rajya Sabha MP Oscar Fernandes, MLA JR Lobo, MLC Ivan D’Souza and others were present.
Speaking to media men later, Kharge refused to comment on the DySP Ganapathi suicide case and added already the Chief Minister and Home Minister have issued statements on the issue in the state assembly. He also stated that a thorough investigation is being done to bring out truth in the case.
On the Kalasa Banduri project, he said the impasse can be solved if the Prime Minister speaks to the Goa CM and accused the Union Government of neglecting the issue.
