Mangaluru, May 15, 2020: Deputy Commissioner Sindhu Rupesh has informed that the second flight carrying stranded Kannadigas in Dubai would arrive at the Mangaluru International Airport on May 18. She said the administration has no definite information as to how many passengers are arriving and to which district they belong. At the same thime she said all of them are arriving here subject to the condition that they would undergo quarantine at their own expense.
On the complaints that the passengers who arrived by the first flight from Dubai on May 12 were inconvenienced at the Mangaluru international Airport, the DC said the issue has been discussed with the authoriteis concerned of the airport and they have been asked to take necessary steps. At the same time she said the passengers must co-operate with the district administration.
