Udupi, June 24,2017: Udupi Assistant Commissioner Shilpa Nag is reported to have made a categorical statement that there was serious sea erosion and the breakwater channel was affecting road close to the village.
About 200 persons live nearby but their houses were not in danger. Boulders were put along the sea to protect the road from the waves before monsoon. However, the tides had intensified in the last two days and the earlier boulders were washed away.
