Manipal, Feb 28, 2018: A two-day science exhibition displaying models and experiments covering the various aspects of science was inaugurated by Pro-Chancellor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) H.S. Ballal at the School of Life Sciences here on Feb 27, Tuesday.
The exhibition is being held as part of the National Science Day celebrations of the School of Life Sciences.
The over 50 exhibits include models of cells and organelles, lights and lasers, wound healing, phagocytosis, personalised medicine, bioindicators, aquaponics, heart beat monitors, wizard garden, Mars Orbital Mission, drug target with nanoparticles and also experiments in fields of biology and chemistry.
The exhibits are partly manned by students studying in 10th Class from schools in Udupi district who have undergone residential training programme at School of Life Sciences for the past week.
The exhibition is open for children, students, parents and teachers till Wednesday noon.
