Sanjeev Shetty silks shoot out case: One arrested

Mangaluru, Feb 15, 2018 : City Crime Branch (CCB) have arrested one person in a case connected with the shoot out at Sanjeev Shetty Silks in Mangaluru.

The accused arrested is identified as Tejpal(33), of Mulki. He os said to be the aide of underworld don Kali Yogish.

Unidentified men opened fire at Sanjeev Shetty Silks in Car Street on December 8.The armed men who came in a bike fired and fled away. In the incident the security guard of the shop was injured.

Other aides of Kali Yogish such as Chandrashekar and Manoj Kumar were arrested, two pistols and seven live bullets were siezed from them. Tejpal was absconding since then. With the arrest of Tejpal number of arrests has gone up to three.
Police have seized two mobile phones from him.

Investigations are underway.
