Salary account of BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje hacked, Rs 20 lakh siphoned off

Bengaluru, Feb 12, 2019 : In a fresh case of internet fraud, the salary account of BJP leader and Karnataka MP Shobha Karandlaje was hacked. Nearly Rs 20 lakh was siphoned off from her account as to ABP reports.
The State Bank of India account was frozen after lodging of complaint. The complaint was filed at North Avenue police station in the national capital. Shobha hails from Puttur in Coastal Karnataka, represents the Udupi-Chickmagalur constituency.
Police investigation is underway.
