SP visits Bantwal; promises early solution to traffic woes

Bantwal, July 16,2016 : Dakshina Kannada SP Bhushan G Borase on July 15, Friday visited Bantwal in order to have a firsthand account of the traffic problems confronting BC Road, Kaikamba, Panemangalore and other areas.

Later, speaking to media men he said his visit aimed at finding a solution to the problem and assured early steps to end the frequent traffic snarls. As a temporary measure, additional personnel would be posted in the problematic areas, he said and added that a permanent solution would be found after consultations with the local administration, elected representatives as well as National Highway Authority.

Ramakrishna Alva. President of Bantwal TMC, Sudhaker Bhat, Chief Officer, B K Manjaiah, Circle Inspector and others were present.

It is horrible to pass through BC Road these days as when there was single road there was no such problem but after the fly over is constructed it has become a head ache to the locals as its the daily problem faced .

Its not only the police we can blame the public too should co-operate with usually we park at the road side and not in a proper margin. Some create problem unnecessarily by taking the u-turn where it is barred.

In such location at least some policemen have to be deployed to make free movement f traffic . Hope the SP is upto his words
