Rs 40 lakh worth jewelry robbed at Manipal

Manipal, Mar 19, 2017:According to reports, miscreants robbed a merchant of cash and jewelry worth more than 40 lakh at Manipal on March 18, Saturday.

robbedIt is said that one Dilip, a jewelry merchant from Thrisur, Kerala arrived in Manipal by bus and had jewelry worth Rs 40 lakh and Rs 2.5 lakh cash in his possession. However, as soon as he reached Manipal, some miscreants abducted him and took him away by a car.

After robbing him of the cash and jewelry, he was thrown out of the vehicle at Padubidri. A complaint was registered at Manipal.  Further details are expected on Monday.

Though the police trace and arrest the accused the cases of crimes are increasing in the district. Why? As the people do it with the greed for the money but it will not last for long

luckily he wasn’t harmed in anyway, because many tie the miscreants kill with the fear that they will reveal the fact .
