Rowdy sheeter Pawan Raj murder case: Three arrested

Mangaluru, Jul 27, 2017  : Mangaluru Rural Police who are investigating the rowdy sheeter Pawan Raj murder case have arrested three persons. The arrests were made at the Puttur bus stand following a tip off.

The accused who have been arrested are  Bipin Jogi alias Ganesh Rao (29) from Tiruvail, Charan alias Charan Raj alias Rajesh (22) from Moodushedde and Harish Poojary alias Nonayya Poojary (28) from Vamanjoor.

Pawan was hacked to death at an abandoned house at Vamanjoor on the night of July 24 following a fight. The accused had  dumped the weapons used for the crime at the same spot before fleeing.

Following the complaint lodged by Pawan’s brother Karthik Raj, the police had registered a case and had begun investigation  by forming a special team to track down the accused.
