Rider dies as tractor hits bike near Konaje

Mangaluru, June 22, 2020:   A bike rider lost his life in a collision between his two-wheeler and a tractor near Punyakotinagar in Hoohakuvakallu of Konaje Police Station limits on June 22, Monday afternoon.

Incidentally, the bike rider used to be the driver of the same tractor which claimed his life. However, on Monday he had taken a leave following which an alternative driver had been arranged. The driver who  completed a  digging work  in the area was  heading towards Mudipu-Manjanady link road when it rammed into the bike and in the process crushed the rider to death.

The identity of the deceased bike rider is yet to be known.
