Ride for health, for children on Saturday, April 30

Udupi, April 29, 2016: The Udupi Cycling Club in association with Udupi district police, Rotary Club and Indian Medical Association will organise a ‘Coastal summer ride for kids’ here on April 30, Saturday. In a media notice K. Annamalai, Superintendent of Police, said that the objective was to build confidence and create awareness among children about the importance and health benefits of cycling.

Annamalai The theme of the ride is, ‘Cycling is good for health and health to the environment too. Let’s go cycling.’

The ride would begin from Ajjarkad Park at 7 a.m. on April 30, Saturday. The route of the cycle ride is: Ajjarkad, Court Road, Kavi Muddana Marg, Shiribeedu Junction, Kalsanka, MGM College, Kalsanka, Shiribeedu, Narayana Guru Circle and Brahmagiri Circle. The ride will culminate at the District Stadium at Ajjarkad.
