Udupi, July 17, 2016: ’A responsible politician should not discuss internal matters of the party publicly,’ this was how senior Congressman and former union minister M Veerappa Moily chose to take a dig at his political rival and senior leader B Janardhana Poojary who had recently demanded the CM’s resignation over DySP Ganapathy suicide case.
Speaking to reporters in Udupi on July 17, Sunday, Moily said it is not proper to make such statements publicly when party allows all its leaders and workers to express their views.
He also stated that there was a need to deal the Ganapathy suicide case with patience.
When his attention was drawn towards the demand for a change of chief minister, Moily said the Congress has not changed its chief minister in the midst of his tenure at any time in the state.
On the Ganapathy suicide case and the demand for Minister KJ George’s resignation, Moily said such demands should not be made without any basis and added one has to now wait for the report of the judicial probe into the case.
