Reflective biography of missionary M. S. Clare released

Mangalore, June 12: Makkala Mithra M. S. Clare, a reflective biography of M. S. Clare, a children’s missionary, was released at Bishop Jathanna Auditorium in Balmatta on June 11 Saturday. The 75th birthday of M. S. Clare was also celebrated on this occasion.

The book was published by the Karnataka Theological Research Institute (KATHRI), which also arranged the book-release ceremony.

Rev. Dr. H. R. Cabral, the secretary of the Karnataka Christian Educational Society (KACES) and chairman of KATHRI, released the book. Speaking on the occasion, he lauded M. S. Clare and said that he was an effective counselor not only for kids, but also for families and youth.

Retired Rev. Dr. C. L. Furtado, the former bishop of the Karntaka Southern Diocese, felicitated M. S. Clare on this occasion in appreciation of services rendered to senior citizens and children.
Retired Rev. Dr. J. S. Sadananda, the bishop of Karnataka Southern Diocese, graced the occasion and said in his address that Clare has inspired a number of kids and youth to imbibe the values of Christ.

Rev. Dr. Sadananda delivered the welcome address and proposed the vote of thanks. Dr. Charles Furtado was the MC of the event.
