Rakshana Vedike stages protest for due recognition to Tulu

Mangaluru, Nov 01, 2017: The Tulunadu Rakshana Vedike staged a protest in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office here on November 1, Wednesday to pressurise the government to include Tulu in the eighth schedule of the constitution and thereby fulfill a long pending demand of the region.
Several activists of the Vedike including its President Yogish Shetty Jeppu took part in the protest. The Vedike has also been demanding the merger of Kasargod with Karnataka.
