Mangalore, Jun 29, 2013: The Department of Railways has announced the timetable of the recently announced trains, details of which are as follows.


train The Yeshwanthur-Mangalore train which operates once a week will begin services from July 1. It will leave Yeshwanthpur at 11.45 pm on Sundays and reach Mangalore Central Station at 5.40 pm on Mondays. It will leave the station at  9 pm on Mondays and reach Yeshwanthpur at 12.30 noon on Tuesday. The train will pass through Palakkad, Shoranur, Thirur, Kozhikode, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur and Kasargod.


The Madgaon-Mangalore daily super fast inter-city express train will leave Madgaon at 4.15 pm every day and reach Mangalore Central at 10 pm. It will leave Mangalore Central station at 8.15 am and reach Madgaon at 2 pm.  The date of commencement of train service is yet to be announced.

 Train No 12508/12507 Guwahati-Ernakulam (Weekly) Express will be Extended up to Thiruvananthapuram.  Train No 12654/12653 (Re numbered as 16858/16857) Mangalore Central – Tiruruchchirapalli (Weekly) Express will be Extended up to Puducherry.


Train No 12082/12081 Thiruvananthapuram-Kozhikode Jan Shatabdi (5 Days) Express will be Extended up to Kannur, while  Train No 66611/66612 Ernakulam-Thrisur (Daily)  will be Extended up to Palakkad. Date of extension  of all the trains will be notified by the Railway Department later.
