Railway minister Suresh Prabhu launches Corpbank’s Visa credit cards

Mangaluru, May 17, 2016: Minister of Railways, Suresh Prabhu, launched Corporation Bank’s Visa International Signature and Visa Platinum credit cards at a function held at Bank’s Head Office in Mangaluru on  May 16, Monday.

Speaking on the occasion Prabhu said Corporation Bank was very a efficient and customer friendly Bank. He appreciated Corporation Bank for the initiative taken in digitizing payments which will contribute towards making a "Less-Cash society"   Jai Kumar Garg, Managing Director and CEO, Corporation Bank, Sunil Mehta, Executive Director, Corporation Bank and Yogish Bhat, former MLA were also present.

Corporation Bank’s Visa International Signature and Visa Platinum cards are having EMV Chip Card and OTP which provide more security during transactions. Persons having income of Rs.2.50 lakh per annum (Rs.3 lakhs in case of self-employed) are eligible for Platinum card and person having annual income Rs.10.50 lakhs and above are eligible for Signature card. The cards offer minimum credit limit of Rs.10,000 and maximum credit limit of Rs.10 lakh
