Railway Ticket booking: Amendment In Tatkal Sceme

Mangaluru, June 12: The timings for booking Tatkal tickets will be changed with effect from 15th June 2015, informed the Railway authorities today, June 12, 2015. The changes are as below:

The timings for booking tickets in AC coaches through Tatkal quota will commence from 10.00 hours on the day before the journey

The timings for booking tickets in Sleeper Class coaches through Tatkal quota will commence only from 11.00 hours on the day before the journey.

TATKAL ticket

All types of ticketing agents will henceforth be prevented from booking -

*        Reservation tickets during the first thirty minutes of opening of booking counters( that is from 08.00 hours to 08.30 hours)

*       Tatkal tickets in AC coaches from 10.00 hours to 10.30 hours and

*       Tatkal tickets in Sleeper Class coaches from 11.00 hours to 11.30 hours
