Rai’s Samarasya Nadige- a drama, says MP Nalin

Mangaluru, Dec 12, 2017: Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel has alleged that DK District in-charge Minister Ramanatha Rai organised the Samarasya Nadige out of fear of losing the next elections.
Speaking to reporters here on December 12, Tuesday, Nalin reminded Rai that he was not just the minister of Bantwal for holding the Nadige from Farangipete to Maani. If at all he was genuinely concerned in holding the rally, then he should have led a Padayatra from Mangaluru to Sampya, Nalin further stated. "It is better for Rai to hold a Thirthayatre instead of this drama called Padayatre" he said.
Commenting on the rampant drug mafia in the district, Nalin said peace is not possible unless this mafia is checked. He also suggested that the Minister hold a meeting to discuss the issues facing the district.
District BJP President Sanjeeva Matandoor, Brijesh Chowta, Harikrishna Bantwal and others were present at the press meet.
