Mangaluru, Aug 02, 2016 : Rahim Uchil has been appointed the State Vice President of BJP Minorities Morcha, by  State BJP President BS Yeddyurappa. Rahim has also been appointed as in-charge of party affairs in Dakshina Kannada  and  Udupi BJP Minority Morcha.

He has earlier served as Vice President of District BJP Minorities Morcha, President of Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy and Convenor of Abbakka Utsava Samithi. He is also the Honorary Advisor of Akhila Karnataka Yeddyurappa Abhimaanigala Sangha.
