Rahim Uchil files complaint against Rai for ’abusing’ Yuva Brigade leader

Mangaluru, Sep 26, 2017:  BJP state Minorities Morcha Vice President Rahim Uchil has filed a private petition in a local court against DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai alleging that the minister had made an offensive remark against Yuva Brigade leader Chakravarthi Sulibele while participating in a public meeting at Asaigoli near Ullal on September 22.

As per the complaint,   Rai had  dubbed  Sulibele as ’Sule Bele’ which conveys a wrong meaning in Kannada. Rai has also accused Sulibele  of being an ’anti-national’ at the same meeting, Rahim alleged in his complaint.

He has also provided  newspaper clippings of the report as well as a CD  of Rai’s speech.

Rahim Uchil said even Chakravarthi Sulibele was present at the programme and the speech had gone viral on  social media  causing much humiliation to Sulibele.
