Puttur, Mar 11, 2023: A woman was found dead on the verandah of her house under mysterious circumstances at Beernahitli of Mudnur village on March 10, Friday evening.

The deceased is Girija (45). She lived with her husband Koragappa and two kids in the house. A neighbour who saw Girija lying dead  had informed the locals and later police  had arrived at the spot.

The husband of the woman who was found missing was later traced seated near a drain and screaming. He was taken into custody by the police for questioning.
