Puttur : BJP protests against insult to Deyi Baidethi

Puttur, Oct 11, 2017 : Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar has come down heavily on the state Congress Government and alleged that the Ministers from the district were behaving like Tuglaq.
He was addressing a function held at the Bhajana Mandir at Perigeri on October 10, Tuesday as part of the Dharma Raksha Padayatra organised by the district unit of the BJP. The Padayatra was taken upto the Deyi Baidethi Vana at Mudipiadka to protest against the insult done to Deyi Baidethi recently. The protest was organised to also prevail upon the authorities to ensure protection of Hindu shrines.
District BJP President Sanjeeva Matandoor, MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary, former minister Krishna Palemar, MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik, former MLA K Prabhaker Bangera, former MLC Monappa Bhandary and many party leaders participated in the Padayatra.
