Private college hostel students ill due to food poisoning

Mangaluru, Feb 08, 2024: A few students of the hostel of Srinivas College at Valachil fell ill on Wednesday due to suspected food poisoning. The students were shifted to a private hospital near Thumbay for treatment.
It is said some students suffered from diarrhea late night on Wednesday. Health Department officials have said that they have visited the hostel and have inspected the kitchen and food items.
Most of the students it is learnt have presently been discharged.
