Preventing ‘Love Jihad’ with a task force soon: Seer

Mangaluru, Dec 22, 2017: Hindu seer in Dakshina Kannada district has announced that he is making preparations to form a Hindu Task Force exclusively to prevent ’love jihad’.

 

Sri Rajashekharananda Swami of Sri Vajradehi Mutt in Gurupur in the outskirts of the city told the media that preparations are on to form a Hindu Task Force to check ’love jihad’ cases across the state.


"Hindu organisations and religious leaders are fed up of ’love jihad’ cases. Initially, the task force will be functioning in Dakshina Kannada district. The main responsibility of the task force is to identify and prevent ’love jihad’ at the initial stages itself. I have held two rounds of meetings with various Hindu organisations. The task force, which will also include 30 women, will be made functional in another week.


The task force will also involve doctors, psychiatrists, social workers and advocates," Rajashekharananda said, adding that the task force will be set up in all districts across the state in the next phase.
