Mangaluru, Apr 12, 2019:  Preparations are in full swing at the Nehru Maidan in Mangaluru, the venue of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally on April 13 at 4 pm.

A huge stage is being erected and  seating arrangements are also being made for over one lakh people.

Security has also been stepped up in various parts of the city, as well as the venue of the public meet.

CCTV cameras have been installed at the programme venue, at railway station and  bus stands nearby. The Bomb detection squad has also been deployed  at the venue and nearby places.  A total of 1472 police personnel have also been deployed for security purposes during the Prime Minister’s visit.
