Udupi, April 22, 2015:  Police who are investigating the recent case of murder of Prakash Acharya   at    Moodubettu in Kodavoor Madhwanagar  have arrested  the brother of the deceased.


prakash murder case1The accused has been identified as Umesh (28). He was arrested  from a friend’s house at Manchi.


It is alleged that following a clash between the two, Umesh had attacked Prakash with a wooden  club killing him  on the night of April 20, Monday.


It has been gathered that Prakash who had planned to construct a house used to pester his mother and brother for money resulting in clash.


Police say the deceased Prakash was also a rowdy sheeter and an accused in  four cases including the case of murder of one Sadashiva Acharya in the year 2002.
