Posters against CAA pasted on Muslims’ houses in Puttur

Puttur, Jan 11, 2020:  Posters against CAA, NRC and NPR have been pasted on the gates and walls of houses belonging to people of Muslim community in the taluk.

 

The posters hung on the gates declared, “We have knowledge on CAA, NRC and NPR. All are unconstitutional. Boycott CAA, NRC and NPR.”

The posters are apparently an attempt to counter the BJP’s move to launch a door-to-door campaign and create awareness on the CAA.

Such posters have come up in areas where the SDPI has a strong base at Koornadka and Bappalige.

The posters are seen at Savanuru also.
