Poojary teary-eyed at inaugural of Horekanike procession

Mangaluru, Dec 26 2017: Senior Congress leader and former union minister Janardhana Poojary who is not keeping well these days turned teary eyed when  he visited  Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatheshwara Temple on December 25, Sunday to inaugurate the Hore Kanike procession in connection with the annual fair of the Brahma Baidarkala Garodi at Kankanady.

 

 

Poojary who was ever agile until recently,  now walks  very slowly and was seen in tears as he entered the Kudroli Temple precincts. Poojary was also seen bowing before the  God with great difficulty and also refusing help from his well wishers who were nearby.

Later, Poojary on noticing that actor Rajashekhar Kotian who recently made his foray into the Congress, was also present  reportedly told him that he had erred by  joining the company of people who offended him. "Seek apology from the Lord and then visit the temple," Poojary reportedly told Kotian.
