Poojary demands Tanveer Sait’s resignation

Mangaluru Nov 11, 2016:  Senior Congress Leader B Janardhana Poojary has demanded the resignation of Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Tanveer Sait who was allegedly caught viewing pornography on his cell phone at a Tipu Jayanthi function at Raichur..
 

Addressing media at the Press Club on Friday November 11th, Poojary said that Tanveer Sait has embarrassed the high command through his act. Though Chief Minister has  stated that Tanveer will resign from the cabinet,  Tanveer Sait denied such a  statement from the  Chief Minister, he said.
 
Chief Minister should inform to the people of Karnataka about the hidden truth as Tanveer has challenged him by denying the statement, Poojary said. It is better for the party to sack him for his embarrassing behaviour, Poojary demanded.

 
Referring to the CM asking Sait to submit an explanation, Poojary questioned the need for such an explanation when the media has exposed everything with proof.

Chief Minister need to stop dozing or else  it may prove costly in the  forthcoming elections, he said.

 Speaking about demonetizing Rs 500 and 1000 notes, Poojary lauded Modi’s step of surgical strike against black money. But the failure of the government to follow the right procedure has led to panic among people. There is dearth  of  new notes and the  improper distribution of new notes has also made it an uphill task for the people to obtain new notes, he said,

 
Regarding the  victory of Donald Trump in the US elections, Poojary said it was a huge disadvantage for Indians as Trump was against India and  stands in favour of Pakistan.
