Mangaluru, Nov 29, 2016 : Senior Congress leader Janardhana Poojary has demanded the Chief Minister to make public the names of three of his ministers who had allegedly accepted bribe of Rs 50 crores in connection with Yettinahole Project implementation.
Speaking to reporters here on November 29, Tuesday, he said the CM should seek information regarding the case form the Intelligence Department. He also asked the CM to question the ministers concerned.
"If the CM failed to do so, then he will also be considered a part of the alleged irregularity," said Poojary.
He further urged the CM to drop the accused ministers from the cabinet. The High Command should ensure that the image of the party is protected, he demanded.
On the poor response from the people to the Aakrosh Diwas of the Congress against demonetization, Poojary felt it might be due to the fact that the people have lost faith in the Chief Minister.
