Mangaluru, April 08: Prof. Narendra Nayak, President of the Federation of Indian Rationalist Associations claims that the City police investigating the cold blooded murder of RTI activist Vinayak Baliga is going slow as per the Home Minister’s instructions.

"We have come to know through very reliable sources that the Home minister of Karnataka Dr.Parameshwar who is a dalit has ordered the commissioner of Mangalore city police to go slow on the investigations into the murder of the RTI activist Vinayak Baliga" claims Narendra Nayak.

It has been alleged that this has been done on the orders of a Brahmin Godman and Astrologist, Chandrashekhar who is supposedly close to the minister. This explains why the police have been unable to apprehend one of the accused Naresh Shenoy who is still at large despite two weeks having elapsed after the murder.

This only goes to prove that the congress govt. is no different from the other allegedly communal parties which it supposedly opposes. This also shows the unholy alliance between religion and politics.

The Federation of Indian Rationalist Associations strongly condemns this and a protest will be held outside the Dakshina Kannada district commissioner’s office on the 15th Friday at 10 am by the Deshapremi Sanghatanegala Vedike which is a forum of all patriotic parties.
