Mangaluru, Nov 24, 2016: The 12th Annual Pingara Rajyotsava Award was conferred on entrepreneur, social activist and philanthropist Kadandale Suresh Sanjeeva Bhandary at a ceremony held at Town Hall in Mangaluru on November 22, Tuesday. Rt. Rev. Dr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Mangaluru who was the chief guest released a biography of Suresh Bhandary.
The ceremony was earlier inaugurated by Aneesha Fathima, Editor of Daijiworld.com. State Minister for Food and Civil Supplies UT Khader appreciated the social service activities of Bhandary.
Sri Esha Vittaldasa Swamiji of Kemaru Sandeepani Sadhanashram, Harikrishna Punaroor, former president of Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Jagannath Shetty Bala, journalist and others were present.
Raymond D’Cunha Tacode, Editor and Publisher of Pingara Weekly, Roy Castelino, President of Konkani Sahitya Academy and others were present.
