Bantwal, Dec 30, 2023: A young pillion rider of a bike lost his life after a  lorry ran over him near the BC Road Circle at around 11 pm on Friday.

 

Accident


The deceased is Rameez (20) of Bengre. It is learnt the bike skidded in an overtaking bid and Rameez fell on the road when a lorry which was passing that way ran over him. The lorry soon escaped from the scene of the accident. The police later traced the lorry.

The bike riders were on way to the Urus at Ajilamogaru mosque when tragedy struck.
