Photos of ’RSS session’ in Bellare College surface in social sites

Sullia, Sep 22, 2016 : The Dr Shivaram Karanth First Grade College at Bellare which was in the news recently after male students began sporting saffron shawls in protest against the management which failed to ban head scarves worn by Muslim girl students, is once again in the limelight for wrong reasons. This time, some photographs of a few students holding RSS Shakha in the college grounds are doing the rounds in social sites.

However, students of the institution have denied that any such event has been held in the college campus.

It may be recalled that the hijab and saffron shawl issue in the college has refused to die as even the intervention of local MLA Angara who is also the President of the College Development Committee had failed to yield results.

Meanwhile, the College Principal who is presently on leave, has assured to look into the latest controversy.

The students have to concentrate on what they have to do and no to unnecessary issue . Discuss with the management and come to a conclusion.

The guys attitude against the hijab of Muslim students. The college shouldn’t bring religious activities to interfere in educational institutions .
