Peter murder case: Four accused surrender at police station

Belthangady, March 3, 2016 :  The total number of arrests in the M J Peter murder case reported from Thotattady here on February 15 has risen to seven with four of the accused surrendering at the local police station on March 2, Wednesday.


Three other accused have already been arrested by the police.


Peter murder caseThose who surrendered on Wednesday are  M T Thomas,  M T Francis,  O D Tommy and Aneesh Philip.


They have been produced before court and remanded to judicial custody for 15 days.

Though it is said that Peter was beaten to death by a group of persons which accused him of stealing arecanuts,  there is also a suspicion if a property dispute might  have culminated in the murder.

The arecanut stealing has taken a different angle.How cruel the people are they have turned so voilant and murdered people.
