Mangaluru, Sep 23, 2016: Speaking to media here, the Paryaya Pejawar, seer Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swami said the state government should strongly oppose the SC, Supreme Court order to safeguard the interest of the state.
The seer said the government should be prepared for any sacrifice. It is high time to face the consequences as the justice is repeatedly in favour of Tamil Nadu. He stated that the protest should be taken up peacefully and the Tamilians in the state should not be troubled. There is an emergency situation and all political parties should unite irrespective of their differences. The government should be geared up even if it is dissolved and the Governor rule is imposed, the seer reiterated.
He said the prime minister cannot intervene as the issue is in the Supreme Court. It would be favourable to consider the experts’ opinion following the spot visit. The state can also try for the amicable settlement with Tamil Nadu, he said.
