Mangaluru, May 04, 2018: Restriction and diversions on the parking of vehicles in identified places in the city on May 5 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit will be in place.

PM.Police Commissioner Vipul Kumar issued a notification on the same on May 3, Thursday.

Accordingly, unnecessary parking of vehicles within a 500m radius of Nehru Maidan, where PM Modi will address an election rally at about 5.30 p.m., has been banned.

It also applied to parking of vehicles in the premises of Circuit House at Kadri. The parking of vehicles on the road from Kenjar to the maidan via Maravoor, Marakada, Kavoor, Bondel, Padavinangady, Yeyyadi, Karnataka Polytechnic, Batta Gudde, Kadri Kambala, Bunts Hostel, Ambedkar Circle, Balmatta, Hampankatta, A.B. Shetty Circle has been banned.

The notification would be in force till 9 p.m. on May 5,  Saturday for security purpose.
